Surya Indian Restaurant

Surprisingly good! I've eaten Indian in India and London, and this place was every bit as tasty! (Okay, different from Bangalore, of course, but delicious anyway!)

And the food came fairly hot, too, even though it was during that cold snap and it was 9 degrees out!

I shall return.

Food was great, tasty and spicy. If you dont like very spicy food request a milder version. Personally loved the spice level! Will order again.

If you are looking for really good food Surya is the place to eat! Authentic, amazing, and never a bad dish.

SO GOOD! I dont know what everyone else who left reviews is complaining about. This food is the bomb!!!!

I hesitated for months to place an order from this restaurant because there were so many negative reviews, but my craving for Indian food won over:

The food arrived EARLY!

The delivery man presented with a kind demeanor and had a broad smile when I opened the door.

Everything was meticulously packed and nothing spilled (including two mango lassis).

Both of the entrees were deliciously and richly spiced. The flavor surpassed my expectations.

I am beyond pleased and will be ordering regularly.

I ordered the chicken biryani and samosa. They were both piping hot when they arrived and absolutely delicious. The chicken biryani was spicy but very good; the samosa was crispy and the filling was well-seasoned. I will definitely order from here again. They arrived about 15 minutes earlier than the delivery estimate, which was also nice.

Chicken Manglorian is a fantastic dish, love it every time. Roti was nice. Delivery driver brought only half our order, but when I called they had already noticed the error and he was on his way back. He arrived less than 10 minutes later. Very impressed by how quickly they fixed their mistake. Will order again!

Routinely good Indian delivery. I've been to the restaurant location as well, and can say it's the same, occasionally I've had the order arrive a little cooler temperature wise than I might like, but otherwise I'd say it's one of my go-to for Indian. Tikka masala is always awesome.

Only downside was the small ice-cream portion, which was fair but not great quality, either. Also, we wish they had brown rice!
